Man I've lived in Omaha too long to have not tried this place out. Nice loops for trail running or just taking a walk and getting out of the city. Definitely worth the drive out to Gretna.
Had a great time walking around here. I suggest taking a picture the trail map at the begining, as there are a couple of trails not marked. The main 2 loops are marked. The suspension bridge was pretty cool! Trails are well kept but there are a few short but steep inclines. I also happened upon a tree with christmas ornaments! One bulb had a photo in it. Very intriguing!
Great little trail. Not a long hike, but still fun. A bit of elevation and the suspension bridge is neat.
Nice wooded park with a few miles of well-maintained trails. The fish hatchery ponds make a nice attraction. Picnic areas are nice but slightly shabby.
The hiking trail is beautiful and easy enough for my 2 year old but not just a side walk so don't wear sandals!
